Luckily, 

I've saved just about every button 

that has EVeR crossed my path

 (as well as searched flea markets and collect antique ones)

 Every time I need to spruce up an old garment

or alter something new that I have found, 

I have TONS of fun 

ButToNs

to choose from.

I think the dark navy blue buttons accent the trim of the jacket while blending in and giving a more cohesive look... yay buttons

 

Check out this 1980's black shag sweater... 




...it came with small clear gem stone buttons that you see above which I really didn't like (but of course I saved them!!) 

But luckily when I saw eyed this sweater at Love Saves the Day 

I had the perfect button in mind...

When I saw the shag sweater I loved it instantly, but those gem stone buttons were just too much.  Now the shag sweater has a sleeker, more sophisticated and streamlined look.

So in conclusion... NEVER ... let 'but a button' get you down...

W I N D Y DAY . . . . .

Sometimes the weather can be discouraging and provide obstacles when getting dressed.  In the fall, I really love to wear hats, especially when it's windy.  The type of weather where it's a bit chillly, but not exactly cold enough for a heavy coat, definitely calls for accessories like these.  Rather then sweating inside a heavy winter coat, try a light jacket and make sure your hands, ears, and neck are covered in a fashionable way!!

and fingerless gloves...

CHUNKY FALL LAYERS

My favorite thing about the summer, spring, and fall is... bare legs!!  This passed fall I discovered over the knee boots, and the below equation which allows me to prolong tights-free legs!!!

Don't get me wrong, tights can be fun, but I'm never in a hurry to slink into a pair no matter how cute the pattern is so ...

 

Layers + Over the knee boots = NO TIGHTS!
